As part of an exploration of Seven Dials, my friend and I shared a Fried Chicken bun. Highly recommend for the wonderfully soft dough and flavoursome filling!

Ordered the pork steamed bun and fried duck gyoza. Both tasty but the pork was my favourite. Good flavours and great textures. Expect London prices, but food is yummy enough to warrant it imo.

If you are walking around Covent Garden and Neal’s Yard, you must definitely stop at the Seven Dials Market to taste the amazing buns at Yum Bun! We had the chance to try the tofu and the aubergine ones, together with the vegetarian gyoza and all were delicious An amazing contrast between the softness of the buns and the crunchy fill, for both the tofu and the aubergine dishes. The mayo sauce on the tofu bun and the spicy topping on the aubergine ones are a very pleasant addition that make each bite even more fun. Appreciated the request from the waitress that wanted to check if we were either vegetarian or fully vegan.

Impeccable and incredible. I have had the pleasure of going to Yum Bun twice and I yearn for it everyday of my life. The seaweed-salted fries are paired so well with the black bean garlic mayo, and the Baos are so fluffy, filled with tender meat. I especially loved the Japanese-style fried chicken.

Visited the Seven Dials market and came across Yum Bun. It had a lot of people around waiting to give order and that’s what caught our attention and we decided to try it out! We tried their seaweed fries and trust me they were nothing like the regular ones. The fries were very crispy and were spiced perfectly. It was not too spicy but had the proper taste. These fries were literally addictive. We then ordered the crispy veg gyoza and mushroom gyoza. Both were finger licking good. In my personal opinion, being a mushroom lover, the mushroom gyoza made my tummy happy. We even tried the Tofu buns which had a huge fried piece of tofu, different sauces and veggies in it. It was a very healthy and lip smacking bun with good garlic flavour ! Last but not the least was the cherry blossom and lychee iced tea. Trust me when I say this is hands down the best iced tea I have ever had. The tea had a hibiscus flower in it which was giving a so refreshing taste. It was a blend of the jasmine tea, lychee and hibiscus flower. This ice tea literally energised us for the rest of the day and it was literally something out of the world. Everything here was so delicious that I would recommend to try all of this possible! Definitely it’s worth a visit!!

Been to seven dials market on Sunday. We were surprised that it was not packed when we got in bang on at noon (as it normally is when I'm there, always), which was a pleasant surprise. I've been eyeing those bao buns for quite a while, so knew straight away I'm going for it! What I could not make my mind up was which one to have, so I got all 4 :) crispy chicken - delicious! pork, I think with hoisin sauce - fantastic! Tofu - so so, and aubergine - loved it!! They were truly great. Buns were soft and pillowy, everything cooked to the order, fresh ingredients, nice sauces, point for extra black bean mayo on the side for no extra charge (they charge extra everything everywhere these days..) it was really tasty, could have a pot of it as I like my condiments. Also, very kind friendly staff - that's always nice. I only wish they had some fish option for the buns, either fish or prawns or crab - whichever. Nevertheless, 100% will be back as soon as possible! And regret not trying their seaweed fries, no drama tough, next time Highly recommend.
